Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 annual salary for the school year Optional Summer Income – Opportunities to work Extended School Year (ESY) or in Montgomery or neighboring districts Tuition Loan Repayment – Available through our ASCEND program Free CEUs Year-Round – Access internal, BCBA-driven training at no cost Strong Clinical Support – Join a collaborative team with a Supervisor that is a BCBA Leadership & Growth – Participate in Devereux’s clinician-led Compassionate ABA Practice Group Impactful Work – Make a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning and behavioral needs What You’ll Do: Provide behavioral support to elementary-aged students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Develop and implement behavior intervention plans Train and support school staff on behavior strategies Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success About Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) DESS provides support to schools around early learning, academic interventions, safety practices and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges and communication needs. We use evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education population. Qualifications Active BCBA certification (required) Experience working in school-based settings preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
