PRN CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)Klarus Home Health/Jet Health Inc. is looking for a PRN CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to join our team serving our patients in San Antonio, TX and the surrounding areas.The Certified Nursing Assistant is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort. The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed.Requirements:Perform personal care tasks according to patient assignments and promptly attend to their needsEnsure patient safety and use equipment properly, including foot stools, side rails, and oxygen devicesProvide personal hygiene assistance, including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, and changing bed linensAssist patients with dressing, undressing, and feeding as neededTake and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressureMonitor and report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse Case ManagerAssist with ambulation, exercise, and other therapeutic activities as instructedOffer respite care for patients, families, and caregivers as appropriateMaintain cleanliness and tidiness in the patient's immediate living spaceAdhere to documentation and care procedures, as well as standards of personal and professional conductParticipate in quality assessment and performance improvement activitiesQualifications:Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and competency evaluationMinimum of one year of CNA experience, preferably in home health or hospice careMust be at least 18 years of ageAbility to read and follow written instructions and document care givenCompassionate and empathetic towards patients and their familiesCurrent CPR certificationValid driver's license, insured automobile in good working orderExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsBenefits for Full-Time Employees:Medical, Dental, Vision insurance optionsShort/Long Term Disability coverageAccident, Critical Illness, Cancer Insurance401k retirement savings planCompany-paid life insuranceMileage reimbursementCell phone stipendCompetitive compensation
