Full-time position, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Rotating weekends and holidays are required.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in our Med-Surg Tele unit. This unit specializes in surgical, orthopedic, urology, and medical care, handling a diverse adult and geriatric population. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, you will provide essential post-operative and medical care for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Titrate drips per protocols, including Heparin; cardiac drip experience preferred.
• Monitor telemetry with support from remote telemetry technicians.
• Assist in the supervision of nurse aids and coordinate patient assignments as Charge Nurse if needed.
• Float to other nursing units or care for patients in the Emergency Department as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in care of post-operative and medical patients; travel experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with flexibility in assignments.
