Required

• SCHEDULE: Weekly schedule will include 1 late shift of 12pm-8:30pm, 3 shifts ranging from 7:45am-5:30pm and Saturdays alternating every 4 weeks (hours 8a-12)p; will leave early on Thursdays if working the Saturday to make 40 hours.
• A sample schedule would be:
  • Monday 7:45a-4:15p
  • Tuesday 8a-4:30p
  • Wednesday 12-8:30p
  • Thursday 9a-5:30p
  • Friday 7:45a-4:15p

Responsibilities

• PSA with 1+ years exp
• Patient Service & Scheduling:
  • Answering patient calls and handling inquiries promptly, following protocols and service standards.
  • Scheduling appointments (in person or by phone), confirming details, and rescheduling or canceling as needed.
  • Managing patient arrival and departure activities — collecting copays, obtaining insurance cards, signatures, and referrals, and updating records in the EMR.
  • Communicating wait times and patient flow to both patients and staff
• Financial & Administrative Tasks:
  • Verifying patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits
  • Obtaining pre-authorizations, referrals, and coordinating benefits
• Regulatory & Compliance:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
• Customer Experience:
  • Anticipating patient needs and resolving issues promptly
  • Building positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff
