Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applied for, preferably in one location. Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact license. Certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Must-Have: Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required. Description: Seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. Position involves caring for patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting. Potential to float to other units with a similar patient population. Shifts will be variable to meet operational needs, with a combination of day and night shifts. Travel experience in the specialty may suffice, but must meet the required experience criteria. A clean background check with no pending cases is required. Candidates must be nicotine-free to comply with facility policies. Two references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required for submission. All required certifications must be active at the time of submission. Candidates with any license hits or open cases on their background check will not be considered. All travelers must adhere to facility expectations and compliance standards.
