Sr. Tax Analyst, International

Senior Income Tax Analyst – International to support a global organization headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Position Summary The Senior Income Tax Analyst – International will play a key role in supporting the Income Tax Team, with a primary focus on international tax matters impacting North American operations. This position offers exposure to a variety of global tax issues and provides opportunities to contribute to tax compliance, research, planning initiatives, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in corporate income tax, and the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, accounting, and tax functions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyze foreign related‑party transactions for tax compliance reporting. Assist with the preparation of calculations and supporting documentation related to U.S. international tax matters, including foreign tax credits and foreign entity reporting requirements. Support Canadian tax compliance activities, including foreign related‑party transactions and surplus calculations. Prepare withholding tax calculations, filings, and payments. Coordinate with Accounting and Finance teams to collect and validate data necessary for international tax reporting and compliance. Assist with forecasting, tax accounting, and compliance processes impacted by international tax regulations. Support transfer pricing documentation and analysis of intercompany transactions. Prepare workpapers, supporting schedules, and draft responses for tax authority inquiries and audits. Research complex international income tax matters and document findings. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate tax processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Assist with special projects and other tax‑related initiatives as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of corporate income tax experience. Strong analytical and data management skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with U.S. international tax compliance and reporting. Knowledge of Canadian tax regulations. Experience with OneSource tax software. SAP experience.
