Reference: PR/601391_1784827642A natural gas distributor is looking for a Supply Chain Category Manager- TechnicalServices to join their team in Dallas, TX.Work Model: Fully On-SiteLocation: Dallas, TXMUST HAVE: experience sourcing engineering, consulting, damage prevention, property surveying, operational, and GIS services.Primary DutiesDevelop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, including RFP/RFQ management.Manage supplier relationships, performance, and contract negotiations.Conduct market research to identify suppliers, monitor trends, and assess pricing impacts.Ensure procurement compliance, maintain records, and manage supplier performance.Drive cost savings, budget adherence, and supply chain efficiency while monitoring market factors (e.g., inflation, tariffs).Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to support business needs.Track procurement KPIs, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.Resolve supplier and supply chain issues.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree or CPM/CPSM certification preferred.5+ years of procurement experience; gas utility industry experience may be considered in lieu of procurement experience.
