Part‑Time Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) – Carolina Veterinary Specialists – Charlotte We are seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to support our fast‑paced emergency and multi‑specialty veterinary hospital in Charlotte, NC. The role involves a mix of administrative duties and frontline customer service, ensuring smooth operations and a positive client experience. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations. Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments. Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being. Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products. Input and manage data in practice‑management software, including billing and accounts. Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records. Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions. Qualifications (Required) High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Schedule Saturday and Sunday 8 AM – 4 PM (part‑time) Saturday 7 AM – 3 PM (part‑time) Pay Range $15 – $17.50 per hour PetVet is an equal opportunity employer.
