Locums Medical Assistant
$25 - $30 per hourNortheast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc.
Join a dedicated PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) team providing compassionate care to older adults in the Bronx, NY.
Compensation: $25-$30 Per Hour
Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
40 hours per week
Responsibilities
Obtain and document vital signs
Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, EKGs, glucose testing, and INR testing
Process laboratory specimens and coordinate lab orders
Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical supplies
Assist providers during patient exams and procedures
Provide Spanish interpretation for patients and families
Document patient information accurately in the EMR
Assist with patient transportation, scheduling, and front desk coverage as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Medical Assistant required
Certified Phlebotomist required
EKG certification required
Minimum 1 year of venipuncture experience (geriatric experience preferred)
Strong computer, communication, and customer service skills
