Republic Services - - Responsibilities: Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order; Safely operate the heavy truck along designated routes and to disposal sites, following route sheets and dispatcher instructions; Load and unload refuse using truck controls, operate the compactor, and dispose of material at designated facilities; Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely and professional service; Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as required while maintaining safety standards
