Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Mooresville, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts

You bring:

• Active RN license with good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Med Surg or Medical-Surgical unit
• In-depth knowledge in medical and surgical patient care
• Excellent assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
• Current BLS certification (other certifications a plus)

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver quality nursing care to adult med-surg patients, monitoring conditions and responding promptly to changes
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and implement care plans in coordination with interdisciplinary teams
• Document all care observations and actions accurately in electronic medical records
• Support patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and recovery expectations
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, infection-control protocols, and safety standards
• Participate actively in unit upkeep, shift reports, and handoffs
