Job Opportunity - Emergency Department Registered Nurse - North Central Florida

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Gainesville, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 48 hours guaranteed weekly; 4:1 patient ratio

• Travel RN backfill position in a busy 43-bed Emergency Department
• Work with modern equipment including Stryker and Hill-Rom stretchers and GE monitors
• Meditech electronic medical records system
• Collaborative unit staffing with unit clerks, medics, and techs for optimal support
• Located within a 432-bed, full-service acute care medical center serving North Central Florida
• Facility recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and accredited Chest Pain Center

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN license or compact state license with ability to obtain Florida licensure
• Current BLS certification required
• Emergency Department nursing experience strongly preferred
• ACLS and PALS certifications as applicable
• Ability to work night shift rotation
