Start Date Summer 2026 Responsibilities Implement inquiry‑driven, discussion‑rich AP World History: Modern lessons that engage in rigorous historical thinking—analyzing evidence, constructing arguments, and connecting global patterns across time. Demonstrate deep expertise in AP World History: Modern content and skills, guiding students to master key concepts and excel on the AP exam. Build a classroom culture where curiosity, critical thinking, and debate thrive—and where students feel empowered to explore and challenge ideas. Serve as an Advisor to a small cohort of students, developing meaningful relationships with families and supporting each student’s personal and academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to co‑create a rigorous, joyful founding high school environment rooted in Zeta’s mission and values. Use data, feedback, and student work to assess learning and continuously refine instruction. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree and at least 1‑2+ years of lead teaching experience (NYS certification preferred), with a proven record of propelling extraordinary student growth. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $71,000–$114,000. New hires are brought in at or near the beginning of the range, depending on relevant experience, NYS certification status, and internal equity.
