Extractable and Leachable Scientist

Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina

Eurofins seeks a scientist to perform extractables and leachables testing using mass spectrometry techniques (GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-MS). The role involves analytical work, data analysis, instrument calibration, and technical documentation in a GMP laboratory setting in Rensselaer, NY.

Responsibilities

Conduct extractables and leachables testing using mass spectrometry methods per established protocols
Generate, compile, and analyze complex analytical data; author technical summaries
Review test results for regulatory compliance and report quality issues
Calibrate instruments, troubleshoot equipment, and verify instrumentation functionality
Support method validation activities and maintain laboratory safety and compliance standards

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in chemistry with 2+ years industry experience, or Master's degree with relevant experience
Hands-on experience with GC-MS, LC-MS, and/or ICP-MS instrumentation
Prior work in GMP-regulated laboratory environments
Experience writing and reviewing technical documentation
Familiarity with electronic laboratory information management systems
Strong organizational, scientific, and computer skills
U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirement

Compensation: $26.00-$32.00/hr, based on experience
