Now Hiring: Line Cook

Location: Derry, NH

Wage Category: Hourly | Starting at $20 - $24/hour, based on experience

Reports To: Head Chef

Schedule: Full-time - evenings, weekends, and holidays

About the Role

We're looking for a line cook who brings energy, urgency, and a real appetite to learn. This is a fast-paced kitchen with creative freedom, a strong team culture, and no room for big egos. If you take pride in clean stations, sharp knife skills, and food that goes out right every time, you'll fit in here.

You'll handle basic and advanced prep along with production across salads, raw bar platters, pizzas, fried dishes, and desserts, depending on your station and location. Wine and food knowledge is a plus, but a willingness to learn matters just as much.

What You'll Do

• Prepare dishes like salads, raw bar platters, pizzas, and desserts
• Follow prep lists and recipes set by the chefs
• Complete daily prep before service
• Operate kitchen equipment to measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, and shred ingredients, and to trim meat, poultry, and fish
• Taste products, check production, and keep records to plan requirements and requisition supplies
• Follow all sanitation, food handling, allergen, and safety guidelines
• Meet food production standards for quality, serving temperature, and portion control
• Store food correctly, including wrapping, dating, and rotation
• Label and stock ingredients so stations stay organized and accessible
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
• Take on additional duties as assigned

Food Truck Duties

• Prep and cook menu items to order in a compact, mobile kitchen
• Maintain food safety, temperature, and sanitation with limited storage and refrigeration
• Help load, unload, and set up and break down the truck
• Manage inventory and communicate stock needs to management

• Knowledge of basic cooking procedures

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally
• Sit or stand for extended periods
