Punch Press Machine Operator

$20 - $25 per hour

Job Description

Location: Grafton, WI
Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Four 10-hour days)

We are currently hiring 2 Punch Press Machine Operators for a sheet metal manufacturing company. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay and a consistent four-day workweek.

Job Duties

Operate Turret Press machines
Operate Punch Press machines
Perform PEM machine operations (PEM insertion)
Remove finished parts and handle materials
Follow production schedules and quality standards
Maintain a clean and safe work area

Required Experience:

Turret Press operation
PEMMING (PEM insertion)
Punch Press operation
Part removal and material handling
Manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Sheet metal fabrication experience
Ability to read blueprints
Experience using calipers, gauges, and other quality inspection tools

Experience

Minimum 1-2 years operating turret presses and punch presses
Minimum 1 year in a metal fabrication environment

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs
Stand for the entire shift
Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting
Steel-toe boots required

Work Environment

Sheet metal manufacturing facility
Climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled work areas
Fast-paced, team-oriented production environment
