Shifts: 1st Shift: Rotating schedule every 2 weeks (days will differ) / Must be available 7 days per week / 8am-4:30pm or 9am-5:30pm / Every other weekend 9am-5:30pm / 2 holidays per year

This position works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, engaging in prescription filling and IV preparation. Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician

• Work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into the computer system for prescription filling and reimbursement payment
• Assist the Pharmacist in the final checking of filled prescriptions for accuracy and timely delivery
• Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies, and managing lot numbers and expiration dates
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician

• Experience working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems
• Ability to maintain inventory standards and governmental regulations
