Job Summary

RG Architects is seeking a creative, organized, and collaborative Marketing Specialist to support the firm’s marketing, business development, branding, and communications efforts. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the firm’s brand identity through the development of digital and print materials, proposal and qualifications packages, social media content, website updates, and client communications.

The Marketing Specialist will work closely with leadership, project managers, and technical staff to support pursuit efforts, promote project successes, strengthen client relationships, and ensure a consistent and professional image across all marketing platforms. In addition to marketing responsibilities, this position will provide general office and project support to help maintain efficient operations and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Brand Management

• Maintain and enhance the firm’s brand identity across internal and external communications.
• Ensure consistency in graphic standards, messaging, and visual presentation.
• Create and maintain marketing templates, style guides, and branded materials.

Proposals and Business Development

• Lead the preparation of Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), interview presentations, and qualifications packages.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather project information, staff resumes, references, and supporting materials.
• Maintain proposal content libraries, project sheets, resumes, and marketing databases.
• Assist leadership with business development initiatives, client outreach, and strategic marketing efforts.

Graphic Design and Content Creation

• Design brochures, presentations, advertisements, infographics, posters, logos, newsletters, and other marketing collateral.
• Develop graphics and content for digital and print applications.
• Support website maintenance, SharePoint updates, and digital communications.
• Create compelling project stories and visual content highlighting the firm’s accomplishments.

Digital Marketing and Social Media

• Manage and update social media platforms with engaging content.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns and client communications.
• Monitor marketing analytics and recommend improvements to increase engagement and visibility.
• Produce graphics, videos, and promotional materials for digital marketing initiatives.

Photography and Video Production

• Coordinate and maintain project photography archives.
• Create and edit video content for marketing, recruiting, and client presentations.
• Support event coverage through photography, video, and social media promotion.

Client and Community Engagement

• Assist in planning and coordinating client events, community outreach activities, conferences, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
• Coordinate promotional items, sponsorship materials, and event marketing.
• Support recruiting initiatives, career fairs, and community engagement programs.

Project Support

• Assist project managers with project documentation, client deliverables, and presentation materials.
• Prepare project award submissions and publication opportunities.
• Maintain project profiles, project statistics, and project photography records.
• Support project kickoff meetings and project closeout documentation as needed.
• Coordinate the collection of project information for marketing, reporting, and pursuit efforts.

General Office Support

• Assist with maintaining organized digital and physical marketing files.
• Help coordinate office announcements, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support office events, staff recognition programs, and company culture initiatives.
• Assist with maintaining conference room presentation materials and marketing displays.
• Provide general administrative and operational support based on office and project needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, graphic design, or a related role.
• Experience preparing proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and social media platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Working knowledge of some of the following software and platforms is preferred; proficiency in every program is not required:
  
  
  • Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Bridge, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Adobe XD
• • Design and Collaboration: Canva and Figma
• • Digital Illustration: Procreate
• • Apple Platforms: iOS and macOS
• • Microsoft 365; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the architecture, engineering, construction, or professional services industries.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems and marketing databases.
• Experience with website management and content-management systems.
• Skills in photography, videography, and video editing.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, 3D design, or AI-assisted design tools.

Physical and Work Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional travel to project sites, client meetings, networking events, and conferences.
• Ability to lift and transport presentation materials, event supplies, and marketing displays weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to attend occasional early-morning, evening, or weekend events.
