Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Intermediate Care (IMC), and Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in a flex unit setting.
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform assessments in a step-down or med-surg environment.
• Manage a 3:1 ratio for step-down patients and a 6:1 ratio for floor patients.
• Administer and titrate medication drips such as heparin, insulin, and anti-hypertensives.
• Collaborate with charge RNs and House Supervisors to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize EPIC charting system and adhere to hospital dress code and scheduling requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with willingness to submit and wait for registration.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system is essential.
• Experience with titratable medication drips preferred.
• Ability to function in high-acuity settings and handle varied case mix.
• Flexibility to work weekend days and shifts as needed.
