Corporate Assistant Controller
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Corporate Assistant Controller to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This individual will collaborate closely with the Controller to oversee financial and risk management operations, ensuring optimal utilization of office and stakeholder resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting controls and delivering accurate financial information to management and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate financial transactions and activities.
- Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations, financial reports, and statements to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, generally accepted accounting principles, and established policies and procedures.
- Maintain precise records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, projects, inventory, fixed assets, and other financial data.
- Implement and audit accounting controls and documentation.
- Generate journal entries and manage account reconciliation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably within the service industry.
- CPA or MBA certification required.
- Proficiency with NetSuite or comparable ERP software.
- Experience managing multiple legal entities under different umbrellas.
