Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Nurse for a travel position in a fast-paced rural emergency department with a focus on high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will bring relevant experience and proficiency in emergency nursing to support our medical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor and assess patients, prioritizing emergency situations.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Facilitate patient transfers when necessary and ensure continuity of care.
• May be required to float to Starke Hospital's Emergency Department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of Indiana.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• De-Escalation Training certification required.
• 1-2 years of ER nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems, Cerner preferred.
