Data Engineer

- Role Overview: Data Engineer (6-month contract, Los Angeles, CA - Onsite requirement with an in-person interview)
- Experience Required: 4 to 6 years (5+ years preferred)
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Build robust data foundations and analytics solutions from structured and unstructured datasets.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau and other BI tools.
- Optimize SQL queries and data models for maximum performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, requirements, and automated data monitoring.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming via JIRA.
- Required Technical Stack:
- Languages & Querying: Python, SQL (MySQL, SAS SQL)
- Platforms & Storage: Snowflake, Data Warehousing, Cloud-based data platforms
- Visualization & BI: Tableau, Dashboard Development, Google Analytics, SAP Business Objects
- Methodologies: Agile, ETL Development, Data Modeling
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI/ML-enabled analytics and automation tools
- Background in data monitoring and alerting frameworks
- Familiarity with large-scale user analytics and telemetry data
