ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3-12 hour shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care, specifically in ventilator management, drip management, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and post-cardiac catheterization care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients.
• Manage ventilators and intravenous drip medications effectively.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures as well as regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active RN license in Alabama or a compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of ICU experience is preferred.
• Previous travel experience is a plus.
