About the Role Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team. Our data team supports a wide range of internal customers including Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales by delivering scalable, secure, and high-impact data solutions. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Stream Analytics, and Fabric. Work with on-premises tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS. Design normalized relational and/or dimensional data models for OLTP and OLAP systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement enterprise reporting models. Administer and optimize our data solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability. You’re a Great Fit If You Have hands‑on experience with data services in a professional setting. Have a strong grasp of data modeling, SQL, and cloud‑based data architecture. Benefits Competitive pay and salary ranges: Associate Data Engineer ($84,240 – $124,461), Data Engineer ($97,740 – $144,460), Lead Data Engineer ($115,290 – $170,349).
