Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop individualized treatment plans that assess student strengths, vulnerabilities, and psychosocial needs, ensuring that interventions are tailored to each unique situation.

• Facilitate educational and therapeutic groups, documenting student goals and responses to activities in a meticulous manner.

• Participate actively in treatment-planning meetings, offering insights and receiving feedback on student progress, while documenting all relevant updates to treatment plans.

• Identify and manage resistance and conflict when working with students, families, and educational staff, employing conflict resolution skills to foster a constructive dialogue.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with social work standards, documenting assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and closure processes effectively.

• Utilize the latest DSM diagnostic criteria for children and adolescents to inform assessments, while applying knowledge of human development to address age-specific needs.

• Employ behavior modification techniques, assertiveness training, and supportive therapy as part of your intervention strategies.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to gather data about the student and family’s social, emotional, and medical contexts, synthesizing this information into actionable insights.

• Regularly review and update treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and family feedback, ensuring that culturally and spiritually relevant concerns are integrated into care strategies.
