A healthcare facility in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support their inpatient hospital pharmacy operations. This contract position offers a focused 13-week assignment with the potential for direct hire. Weekend shifts are scheduled from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with some additional weekday shifts (7:00 am to 10:00 pm) as needed.


Location:

• Battle Creek, Michigan (local candidates preferred; travel and housing options considered)

Shift & Schedule:

• Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Some weekdays as needed, 7:00 am to 10:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform order entry using Cerner Med Manager
• Manage medication dispensing and verification utilizing Pyxis automated systems
• Support inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting, ensuring safety and compliance
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Michigan Pharmacist License required
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Cerner Med Manager for order entry
• Experience working with Pyxis automation systems
• Willingness to commit to the 13-week assignment with possible extension or direct hire
