Pharmacist Position

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Ensure safe medication practices and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Identify and resolve medication-related concerns, interactions, or discrepancies
• Support pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and controlled substance accountability
• Maintain accurate documentation and pharmacy records
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence
• Provide education and support to healthcare staff as needed

What We Are Looking For:

• PharmD or post-graduate degree from an accredited program
• Active Maine pharmacist license (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Long-term care, institutional, or clinical pharmacy experience preferred but not required
