Overview: Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Dock Attendant to join our team. Nestled amidst stunning natural scenery, this position offers a unique opportunity to work outdoors while providing exceptional service to guests enjoying the resort's waterfront amenities. Responsibilities: Guest Assistance: Greet and assist guests arriving at the dock, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. Safely and efficiently assist with boat docking and securing. Boat Rental Coordination: Provide information on boat rentals, tours, and other water-based activities. Facilitate the rental process, including paperwork and safety briefings. Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the dock area. Monitor and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Safety Oversight: Enforce safety guidelines and regulations on the dock. Assist in emergency situations and coordinate with appropriate personnel. Customer Service: Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about resort amenities. Enhance the overall guest experience through friendly and helpful interactions. Physical Requirements: Work primarily outside, exposed to natural elements and varying weather conditions. Comfortable working on a waterfront setting with beautiful scenic views. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods. Lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 75 pounds. Flexibility: Bend, stoop, and move comfortably in different physical positions. Navigate uneven terrain on the dock. Communication: Clear verbal communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively. Qualifications: Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
