Material Handler, Packing (6:45am - 2:45pm)

Baxter seeks a Material Handler, Packing to transport, inspect, and pack sterile IV therapies and pharmaceutical solutions for distribution. The role operates in a cleanroom manufacturing environment on a 6:45am–2:45pm shift, supporting the production of life-saving medical products.
Responsibilities
- Transport sterilized bags via powered industrial truck from cooling area to packing line
- Visually inspect product bags for defects, proper orientation, and log discrepancies
- Operate and maintain automated packaging equipment and carton erectors
- Maintain clean and safe work area following 6S principles and cGMP standards
- Notify supervisor of safety, quality, mechanical, or process discrepancies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; minimum 18 years old
- One year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operator certification or ability to obtain
- Inspector certification or ability to obtain
- Basic English communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and carry distances up to 25 feet
- Basic computer skills and mathematics competency
Compensation: $21.60 an hour
