Play It Again Sports Eagan is looking for a hands on Retail Team Lead to help drive daily operations, support and develop team members, and create an outstanding customer experience. This is a working leadership role where you'll spend your time on the sales floor alongside your team, helping customers, buying and merchandising sporting goods, and keeping the store running at its best.

No two days are the same. From evaluating and purchasing quality used sporting goods to coaching employees and merchandising inventory, you'll play an important role in every aspect of the business.

What You'll Do

As a Retail Team Lead, you'll partner with store management to oversee daily operations while creating an exceptional customer experience and helping your team succeed.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and motivate employees throughout each shift

• Coach team members through real time feedback and development

• Deliver exceptional customer service and professionally resolve customer concerns

• Assist with scheduling, task delegation, and daily store operations

• Buy, evaluate, and price quality used sporting goods

• Merchandise inventory to maximize sales and maintain visual standards

• Train and onboard new team members

• Open and close the store while ensuring operational excellence

• Help achieve sales, customer service, and operational goals

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is confident, dependable, and ready to lead.

Required Qualifications

• Two or more years of retail leadership, supervisory, or management experience

• Three or more years of retail sales or customer facing experience

• Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills

• Excellent organization and time management abilities

• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast paced environment

• Ability to lift and move sporting goods weighing up to 50 pounds

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for sports, fitness, or outdoor recreation
