Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills. Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.
- Navigate assigned routes effectively while managing time constraints.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transport.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck both inside and out.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Strong route driving skills with an understanding of navigation systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- A commitment to safety protocols and regulations in all aspects of driving.
