Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Aurora, CO. Assignment Overview Start Date: Jul 20, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: Nights, 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) 3x12hrs Employment Type: Travel Details 350‑bed acute care hospital with a respiratory therapy department staffed by 38 professionals Typical staffing ratio: 1 charge therapist + 5 staff therapists per shift Equipment: Hamilton G5, Hamilton C1, Hamilton T1, V60, Vyaire Avea ventilators EMR: Meditech (prior experience preferred) Experience in PEDS, NICU, and PICU preferred Qualifications Current RRT credential (NBRC) or CRT license Minimum 6 months of acute‑care RRT hospital experience Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; none expiring within 30 days of assignment start) Active state license if applicable US SSN and DOB required One professional reference No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not eligible) Primary Responsibilities Ventilator management and airway management Engage with patients, ensuring a high priority on patient experience Benefits Tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined) Premium medical, dental, vision, and life insurance effective day one Generous 401(k) match Housing stipend Compensation Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
