About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist (CT Tech) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Hilo, Hawaii. The technologist will perform diagnostic CT imaging in an acute hospital environment while following radiologist protocols and established patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced CT examinations according to physician orders, radiologist protocols, and established imaging standards.

• Position patients appropriately, select imaging parameters, and obtain high-quality diagnostic CT images while maintaining patient safety.

• Perform applicable post-processing techniques including MIP, MPR, and 3D image reconstruction within demonstrated competency.

• Support CT imaging for trauma, stroke, vascular, cardiac, and image-guided procedures such as biopsies and drainages when qualified.

• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years of CT Technologist Experience Required, Including Acute Hospital Imaging Experience.

• Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist License as a Radiographer Required by Assignment Start; Candidates Without an Active Hawaii License Must Apply Upon Acceptance.

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography [ARRT (CT)] Certification Required.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Ability to Work Varied 10-Hour Shifts and Holiday Coverage Required; Current Flu Vaccination or Facility-Approved Medical or Religious Exception Required Before Start.
