Finance and Payroll Associate

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Payroll Associate who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-currency environment. Partnering closely with the Controller and collaborating with the Director of Operations, you will own global payroll administration, month-end financial reconciliations, client billing, and expense allocation tracking.

Responsibilities

Month-End Close & Reconciliations: Performs comprehensive bank and general ledger reconciliations in QuickBooks, executing journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and variance reviews to support the Controller through the monthly close.

Billing, Invoicing & Expenses: Translates consultant hours into QuickBooks invoices, handles client portal uploads and collections, and manages intercompany expense allocations and currency translations across US, Canadian, and UK branches.

Global Payroll & Benefits Administration: Manages multi-country payroll for internal staff and contractors across Canada, the UK, and the US using ADP, Deel, and Paycom; administers international pensions/benefits.



Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with:

• Accounting: QuickBooks
• Payroll & EOR Platforms: ADP, Deel, and Paycom
• Benefits/Retirement Portals: NEST (UK), US and Canadian brokers

Education & Experience: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, paired with 4 years of hands-on payroll and bookkeeping experience highly preferred.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with corporate clients on billing, and internal leadership on operations and financial policy.
