Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Tech

Experience: Minimum of one year in Cath Lab Tech role.
License: New Jersey Diagnostic Radiologist Tech License required.
Certifications: ARRT (R) Radiography, ACLS, BLS.


Must-Have:
Cath Lab Tech experience.
Cath Lab checklist required.
Call is roughly one weekend per month, Friday to Sunday, and approximately one day per week.
Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes for emergency call.


Description:
Seeking experienced Cath Lab Tech.
The candidate must have a minimum of one year of Cath Lab experience.
The NJ Diagnostic Radiologist Tech License is required.
If the license is not in hand, candidates may still submit, but it should be attached if available.
The Cath Lab performs Angiograms, Angioplasty, Septal defect repair, TAVR, and MitraClip procedures.
Experience with IABP, Impella, and Atherectomy is preferred.
The candidate should have experience with accurate monitoring and diagnostic catheterizations in an adult population.
Knowledge of equipment setup, fluoroscopy, and hemodynamic monitoring is essential.
The role requires maintaining a sterile field, preparing access sites, and performing EKG lead placements.
Strong foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills in rhythm interpretation are important.
The candidate must adhere to isolation precautions and be proficient in the use of vascular closure systems.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to analyze EKG strips and interpret cardiac rhythms as part of the selection process.
