About the Position

Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in specialty License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS; AHA ACLS preferred if working in pediatric unit Must-Have: - 1 year of recent experience in critical care nursing - High level of professional competency - Willingness to float to other units and hospitals Description: The role involves providing care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring critical care. The focus will primarily be on post-operative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring. Nurses will be part of a dedicated team aiming to ensure a pleasant and comfortable patient experience in a safe and secure environment. The unit operates with a patient-centered approach to care. Candidates should possess an associate degree in nursing. A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty is required. Candidates will be expected to work every other weekend and float to other units as necessary. Emphasis will be placed on providing excellent patient care and monitoring during the recovery process.
