Job Description

Job Summary:

Staffworks is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts, manlifts, and company pickup trucks. This role requires strong mechanical skills and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on PIVs and company vehicles

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

Conduct inspections and address potential issues proactively

Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records

Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime

Complete other assigned maintenance tasks

Qualifications:

Experience repairing engines and heavy equipment

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filters, lubrication)

Proficient with hand and power tools

Ability to read technical manuals

Welding/fabrication experience preferred

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Pay: $24.00 per hour
