Job Title: Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab (Days + On-Call)

Location: Rockford, IL - Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital

Duration: 13 Weeks

Start Date: ASAP (Quick Start)

Shift: Day Shift + On-Call Rotation (Weeknights, Weekends, Holidays)

Hours: 40 hrs/week (Guaranteed)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join a high-performing team at Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center Cath Lab setting and be comfortable handling complex cardiovascular cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols
Monitor and document patient status accurately in EPIC EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery plans
Respond effectively in high-acuity and emergency situations
Participate in quality improvement and peer review activities
Support patient safety initiatives and maintain care standards

Requirements:

Active Illinois RN License (Required at submission)
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (Required)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum 3 years RN experience
At least 1 year of critical care experience
Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Intervention experience required
Must pass EKG test during onboarding

Bed Size: 150-500

Additional Details:

On-call rotation required (weeknights, weekends, holidays)
No 1099 option
No travel reimbursement or bonuses listed
