Job Title and Location Registered Nurse (RN) – Trauma/Ortho/Tele/Med‑Surg – Chicago, IL Position Overview Department: 34528 – Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center – Med Surg: 8 Tower Schedule: 3 nights per week, 1900–0730, every other weekend, with three holidays per year Pay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour (base plus premium pay) This is the largest medical‑surgical unit at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. The unit focuses on Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and General Surgery. The unit offers a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with opportunities for advanced assessment, IV line and tube management, and professional growth. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe and therapeutic care following established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, and effective communication to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience throughout the continuum of care. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the candidate practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
