Job Description Job Description Lead Journeyman Residential Electrician Wire Wiz Electrical Services Position Summary Wire Wiz is seeking an experienced Lead Journeyman/Supervisory Electrician to join our 5-star, award-winning team serving the Ocean City, Egg Harbor Township, and surrounding areas . This leadership role is ideal for a highly skilled residential electrician with a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while supervising and supporting team members. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on residential electrical experience and be capable of diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing a wide range of residential electrical systems with little to no supervision. Responsibilities Replace and upgrade electrical service panels and breaker boxes Install and replace service entrance cables and meter sockets Troubleshoot and repair residential electrical systems independently Install ceiling fans, light fixtures, recessed lighting, and exterior lighting Install attic fans and ventilation-related electrical components Run and install new electrical circuits for residential applications Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate project updates Lead and mentor apprentices and junior electricians as needed Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment Qualifications Minimum 8 years of daily residential electrical experience Journeyman Electrician license preferred (where applicable) Proven ability to perform residential electrical work independently Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Knowledge of current electrical codes and safety standards Excellent leadership and supervisory abilities Strong communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to lift, climb, crawl, and work in attics, basements, and other residential environments Requirements Clean driving record Valid driver's license No criminal background Reliable transportation Ability to pass background and driving record checks Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime available for those who want additional hours Paid vacation Benefits available Steady year-round work Opportunities for advancement and leadership growth Supportive, team-oriented work environment Why Join Wire Wiz?
