Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Las Cruces, New Mexico.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/21/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 21, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring NM or compact RN licensure and full spectrum maternal care experience.Details\n \n Work in the Labor & Delivery (Women's Services) unit on the 2nd floor of a 199-bed hospital\n 17-bed unit with patient ratios per AWHONN standards\n Night shift schedule from 7p-7a with every other weekend required\n No on-call responsibilities\n Floating required to NICU\n Circulate and recover Cesarean sections as part of daily duties\n Requirements\n \n Active RN license (NM or Compact) required\n Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring\n 2 years of experience required\n Full spectrum maternal care experience required\n Fingerprint-based background check required prior to hire per New Mexico state requirement for all clinical staff\n Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration\n Additional Information\n \n Provide full spectrum maternal care including circulating and recovering Cesarean section patients\n Scrubs provided by the unit\n Weekly orientation held on Mondays\n Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate\n Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months\n Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-751166.
