Your work impacts production teams, shipping/receiving, and inventory control; you will work onsite on a standard daytime schedule (Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm).Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamIdentify parts using pick lists, WIP, blueprints, and customer requirementsPrepare, package, and label parts/materials for safe shipment and storageSelect parts from stock to fill orders and place stock in proper locationsUse computer systems to maintain and access inventory and shipping recordsMove parts between functions using forklifts or other material-handling equipmentStage tooling, audit storage areas, and support inventory counts for accuracyParticipate in lean/continuous improvement activities and apply lean toolsHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleHigh school diploma or equivalent1 year of product support, warehouse, or related experience, or demonstrated ability to perform the roleAbility to implement and apply lean/continuous improvement initiativesProficiency with job-specific software applications and basic computer useStrong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to follow written instructions and proceduresAbility to frequently move materials weighing up to 50 lbs and work around plant noise, dust, and equipmentMay be required to operate moving equipment and meet OSHA safety qualificationsParticipation in and completion of the Powerlift Operator Training Program (forklift) is requiredHere's What Else Might Help You OutExperience with advanced CICS functions (issue/release requisitions, edit/fill shortage requisitions)Prior experience assisting in sub-assembly areasPay Range$16.00 - $20.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
