This role focuses on the design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and production release of complex mechatronic systems involving multi-axis motion, industrial automation, and robotic manipulation. You'll have significant ownership over product development, work alongside robotics, software, controls, and electrical engineers, and play a key role in bringing cutting-edge automation technology into production. Required Skills & Experience · Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or related discipline

• 5–8 years of professional experience in robotics, automation, or industrial equipment development
• Proven experience designing electro-mechanical systems from concept through production release
• Strong expertise in actuator, motor, transmission, and sensor selection and integration
• Experience working with encoders, load cells, proximity sensors, and other industrial sensing technologies
• Expertise in system dynamics, simulation, modeling, and vibration analysis
• Experience performing finite element analysis (FEA) for mechanical system validation
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and mechanical CAD design tools
• Experience creating engineering drawings and documentation compliant with ASME Y14.5 standards
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Desired Skills & Experience · MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience designing industrial tooling, fixtures, or automation equipment
• Experience developing free body diagrams and governing equations for electro-mechanical systems
• Experience performing static and dynamic load calculations
• Experience conducting kinematic and motion analysis
• Experience working with industrial controls and automation systems
• Experience establishing engineering documentation processes, BOM structures, CAD vaults, and part numbering systems
• MATLAB and/or Python programming experience
