Job Full Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to ensure our silicone products meet strict quality and performance standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity by inspecting materials, monitoring production processes, and documenting results. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, follows procedures closely, and is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Th

Key Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for defects and compliance with specifications
Perform tests using measurement tools, gauges, and lab equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality standards are maintained
Document inspection and test results accurately in company systems
Identify quality issues and communicate findings to production and management teams
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
Maintain quality records in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
Ensure all work aligns with safety guidelines and company procedures
Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Previous quality control or manufacturing experience preferred (silicone, plastics, or rubber industries a plus)
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or inconsistencies
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specs, and work instructions
Comfortable using inspection tools and computers for data entry
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs

Preferred Skills

Experience with ISO standards or regulated manufacturing environments
Familiarity with quality inspection tools and testing procedures
Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) or quality data tracking
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
