Registers patients in EPIC systems. Securing signatures on consent, authorization and financial agreement forms. Validates patient insurance information and ensures that billing information for technical and professional billing is complete and accurateResponsibilities:Complete and accurate registrationsMaintain clean and efficient workstation95% accuracy with EPICObtain accurate demographic and insurance information, as well as verifying and validating insurance informationGenerate medical record number and past medical record information for patientProduces patient identification bandProficient with downtime proceduresPeriodically orients new personnel as requiredAlerts management team to problems (i.e., mass casualties, etc.)Performs other duties in area if responsibility as assignedCollects POS cashEducation or Equivalent Experience:H.S.
