Entry Level Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking an entry level staff accountant to join their team and learn their business. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Controller. This is a hands-on accounting role where you will learn a lot.

Essential Duties:

• Preparation and posting of journal entries
• Creation of income statements and other financial reports
• Timely preparation of account reconciliations
• Assistance with financial reporting
• Compilation of inventory values and analysis of inventory changes
• Collaboration with external auditors and the internal audit function
• Contribution to analysis of business trends
• Development and implementation of process improvements
• Timely completion of ad-hoc project work, as assigned

• Ability to read and comprehend detailed financial statements
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Requirements: BS in Accounting or Finance GPA 3.0 or better CPA Candidate
