Sr. Executive Assistant- Disney Entertainment, Corporate Planning & Transformation

Overview Sr. Executive Assistant to the EVP - Disney Entertainment CFO & Transformation at The Walt Disney Company. This role supports a very senior executive, partnering closely to understand business needs and help enable success. You will be a key member of a dynamic, fast-paced team and will interact with senior management. Position reports to the EVP - Disney Entertainment CFO & Transformation. What You Will Do Manage the day-to-day activities of the leader(s) you support, including core business and financial planning support for content and distribution teams within Disney Entertainment. Read relevant newspapers and trade journals to stay informed and inform your executive of relevant information. Conduct research, fact-check work, and prepare regular reports and summaries, owning tasks and providing ongoing support to others. Create multi-city travel itineraries, considering time zones, weather delays, traffic, and fatigue levels. Interface with other senior executives and their support teams; build strong relationships across levels. Review schedules to reserve time for thinking and travel between meetings. Understand daily priorities to manage calls strategically. Schedule conference rooms, meetings and video conferences. Adapt to change when emergencies arise and recover when the situation stabilizes. Handle confidential, sensitive information in a publicly traded company environment. Draft letters and emails on behalf of leaders. Assist with onboarding new employees and respond to questions from all levels, including senior staff. Manage large purchase orders and vendor contracts. Mentor and train other support professionals in hard and soft skills. Plan large, high-profile events such as premieres, product launches, off-sites and team-building activities. Qualifications At least 7 years of experience in an executive assistant role supporting senior executives, or an equivalent combination of experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with flawless grammar and a rich vocabulary. Desire to immerse yourself in all aspects of your executive’s business. Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines and deliverables. Proficiency with computers, phones and office equipment, and mastery of Microsoft Office programs, SAP, Confluence, Concur, in a Windows environment. Calm under pressure and a steady approach to handling unexpected situations. EQ skills to build bridges and foster collaboration; ability to inspire others to want to work with you. Reliability handling confidential information. Desire to be genuinely helpful to leaders and co-workers, going the extra mile without being asked. Flexibility in schedule; willingness to devote extra time when needed. Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail. Professional demeanor, positive attitude and can-do approach. Preferred/Additional Skills Experience supporting executives at the C-suite, EVP or SVP level. Experience supporting an executive who has served on a Board of Directors or supporting board activities. Experience at The Walt Disney Company or other large public corporations. Education Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience. The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $95,500 to $128,000 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary by geographic region, knowledge, skills and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical and other benefits.
