Site Tool & Equipment Coordinator

The Site Tool & Equipment Coordinator is a key part of that effort. Position Overview The Site Tool & Equipment Coordinator is responsible for the day‑to‑day management and accountability of all company‑owned equipment, rental equipment, and tools at the project site. This is a hands‑on field role that requires a general understanding of electrical construction operations and the ability to manage assets in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate has direct experience in electrical construction, understands how tools and equipment are used in the field, and takes pride in keeping a jobsite organized, efficient, and accountable. Key Responsibilities Equipment & Asset Management Track and maintain accurate records of all company‑owned and rental equipment assigned to the project site. Coordinate the delivery, deployment, and return of rental equipment in alignment with project schedules and budgets. Conduct regular physical audits of equipment to verify location, condition, and utilisation. Tool Management Operate and oversee the site tool room team, ensuring tools are properly issued, tracked, and returned. Manage tool inventory levels and coordinate repair or replacement of damaged and worn tools. Enforce tool accountability procedures with field crews and supervision. Support the rollout and use of Triad’s proprietary tool and equipment tracking software. Coordination & Reporting Work closely with the Project Superintendents, General Foremen, and field crews to anticipate equipment and tool needs. Communicate proactively with the National Logistics Manager regarding asset status, rental costs, and inventory gaps. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within Triad’s tracking system. Support job cost efforts by ensuring rental equipment is returned promptly and tools are properly accounted for. Qualifications Prior experience in electrical construction or a related specialty trade environment required. Direct experience managing tools and/or equipment on a commercial or industrial jobsite. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and take ownership of the function with minimal supervision. Comfortable working in an active construction site environment. Proficient with basic tracking, documentation, and inventory tools. Familiarity with rental equipment processes and vendor coordination preferred. This is a full‑time, onsite role assigned to a single project location.
