ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced 30-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This unit provides comprehensive care for a diverse patient population, including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, alcohol use/abuse, substance use disorders, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy.Key responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments and evaluating patients' conditions regularly, administering medications and performing interventions as ordered by physicians, providing respiratory support, including the management of ventilators, monitoring and documenting patients' progress and responses to treatment, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, and educating patients and families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience, current ACLS and BLS certification required, proficiency in managing ventilators and patient monitoring systems, strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.This position requires working in a fast-paced medical environment, delivering care to critically ill patients.
