Radiologic Technologist
Job Overview
A Radiologic Technologist is needed to provide imaging coverage for CT and X-ray procedures. The role requires expertise in both modalities and involves working a weekend schedule.
Schedule
The position involves working Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Due to limited housing availability, candidates must remain on-site for the duration of the weekend.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging for emergency and outpatient services.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment.
- Document procedures and patient information using Athena (preferred but not required).
- Utilize Omega PACS for image management (preferred but not required).
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT and X-ray.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Commitment
This role offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week. We are looking for candidates interested in a potential temp-to-perm opportunity.
